Abstract

|
This paper is an attempt to present the idea of the provision of health care service for aged in the future. On the basis of the analysis of the status and problems of the policy of health care service of aged in Korea and the purpose of welfare and quality of life of aged presented by World Health Organization. I proposed the expansion of public health service, the provision of systematic care of dementia and lie in a bed elderly, the extensive manage of home care service, and the application of interim facility for the elderly after discharger from hospital as a health care service for aged. Although the discussion has been made in a rather fragmented manner, it would hopefully provide stones for the policy of the health care service in aged from a long range perspective.
